Holly Wyatt, M.D.
Holly R. Wyatt, M.D, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine,
Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes at the University of Colorado
and Denver Health Sciences Center. She currently is a physician and clinical
researcher at The Center for Human Nutrition. She also runs the Metabolism and
Obesity clinic at The University of Colorado and Denver Health Science Center.
Dr. Wyatt has been the National Program Director for the Centers for Obesity
Research and Education (C.O.R.E.) since 1999. Dr. Wyatt also served as the medical
director of a community based weight management program (The Colorado Weigh).
Dr. Wyatt’s research interests include measuring resting energy expenditure,
fat oxidation, total energy expenditure and activity levels in the National Weight
Control Registry’s long-term reduced population. Dr. Wyatt also studies how diet
composition affects long-term success in weight loss maintenance.
